End of the Alaska pictures.

Following our visit to the Mendenhal Glacier and surrounding wetlands, we were given a tour of the Alaskan branch of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration by a Hiram Alum, Sharon Wildes (Sharon Hopkins while at Hiram, class of '86). She works as a geneticist assessing the reasoning for commercial fish showing up in the wrong places more and more frequently.

The campus of the shrine where we stayed is usually used for religious retreats and thusly is filled with oil paintings of popes and colored lithographs of Mary.
